China boy with Jack Teagarden is probably the most interesting track on Benny Goodman. His Orchestra with Harry James Sugar Foot Stomp is cool work of Benny Goodman. Jumpin’ At The Woodside sets the tone for the entire album. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Little Brown Jug is a bit of a show-tune. Mambo Swing is really a nice song to relax and listen too. In Medley it becomes nowhere more obvious that Benny Goodman has yet to define own style. Memories Of You (3:37) a good melody. Moonlight serenade is one of the coolest songs Benny Goodman has ever recorded. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Oh Yes, Take Another Guess Benny Goodman & His Orchestra has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. One O’Clock Jump 1 is nothing but pure genius. What sets Rhapsody In Blue apart is Benny Goodman’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. I like the idea behind Satin Doll. Send In The Clowns is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Benny Goodman ever produced. Music in Serenade In Blue is perfect as in all tracks of Benny Goodman. Still going through Benny Goodman and coming to appreciate Sony Music 100 Years more and more with every listen. St. Louis Blues 2 I just LOVE this mix! St. Louis blues 1 - Check out that bassline! Music and lyrics of lawrence welk creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming.
