fourteen years ago, Benny Goodman briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Bob white”. Self-described as Jazz with lots of words, Benny Goodman comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Now signed to Benny Goodman’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “Sing, sing, sing” leads Benny Goodman’s back-to-school campaign. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Bob white
Opening track Bob white shows the best of Benny Goodman. Can’t we be friends motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Changes without a doubt is the standout song of Sing, sing, sing. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Chloe from the beginning to the end. Goodnight my love is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. In He ain’t got rhythm the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. I love the melodic melody of I can’t give you anything but love, baby and to this day it makes me feel good. I want to be happy pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Never should have told you is probably one of Benny Goodman’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Peckin’ is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Roll ‘em is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. I like the agression and power of Rosetta. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Benny Goodman. Sing, sing, sing PART II one of the best in my collection. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. This years kisses is a bit different from Benny Goodman stereotypical stuff. I like When it’s sleepy time down south because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. You can tell she comes from Dixie - A catchy, upbeat tune.
