Jacek Kaczmarski was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Jacek Kaczmarski and Dzieci Hioba together. Lead single “piec glosow z kraju - modlitwa” and “piec glosow z kraju - pochwala” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
The opening track piec glosow z kraju - pochwala is very much like you would expect from other albums. piec glosow z kraju - lament is a bit different from Jacek Kaczmarski stereotypical stuff. The song piec glosow z kraju - protest ending is my favorite… so catchy! piec glosow z kraju - bieszczady is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Dzieci Hioba have ended. Such hits like podroze guliwera - liliput will leave you hooked. I believe podroze guliwera - brobdingnag is one of the most amazing, heartfelt songs ever written. The sound of podroze guliwera - laputa is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. This song stands out greatly from the others. Still going through Dzieci Hioba and coming to appreciate ci wszyscy ludzie more and more with every listen. japonska rycina is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. trylogia - pan kmicic is just simply stunning. This track is a great song that still never gets old. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. kolysanka dla kleopatry is a very catchy tune. Only one song from Dzieci Hioba named sara really got me. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is odnosimy sie. swiatlo - Check out that bassline! dzieci hioba is a very catchy tune.
