It’s natural for Jacek Kaczmarski to take a stab at ‘Ballada o istotkach’ considering her long-professed love for Orkrist. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Jacek Kaczmarski’s album Suplement Polskie Radio Wroclaw falls to No. 2 with 454,000, a sales slide of 66%. ‘Suplement Polskie Radio Wroclaw’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. One of Jacek Kaczmarski’s best albums yet.
This is probably my favorite song on the album. Ballada o wesoiym miasteczku - To me, this is the best song on the Suplement Polskie Radio Wroclaw. Ballada o okrzykach is a song to enjoy for years to come. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Kanarek. After few listenings I started to like Egzamin more and more. Korespondencja klasowa is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Trzy Portrety, which shows, blatantly, how much Jacek Kaczmarski has evolved as a singer. I can’t stop playing Czarne suchary. Jacek Kaczmarski offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Ballada dla obywatela miasteczka P. is another strong production from Jacek Kaczmarski. Grajek - This one is lively and fun. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Powodz is a striking and quite long song. I listened to the opening track List do redakcji Prawdy z 13 grudnia 1981 roku and liked it a lot. Miodych miemcow sen without a doubt is the standout song of Suplement Polskie Radio Wroclaw. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Lyrics of Pierestrojka w KGB are precise and evocative. Jacek Kaczmarski allows each song to breathe and flourish. I like to sing along with Kariera Nikodema Dyzmy, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Once you hear Nasza klasa 92, you will listen to it over and over. Limeryki o narodach is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood.
