This is one of the best Cd’s Various Artists has dropped to date. Lead single “Its A Dream (Cosmic Vibrations)” and “Ritmo De Brazil (Ronaldo)” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Various Artists was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Various Artists and Afromania Vol.4 together. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Bocame (Papaya) is a strong cut, one of many. Ragga Dance Man (African Vibes) marked the continuation of Various Artists in style evolution. You have to get essence of the Hijo (DJ Congano)’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. La Fucci (Mongawa) hits the heart. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Asian Dream (Jambola) is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Mysteria (DJ Boot) is a bit of a show-tune. Once Open Your Mind (Mongawa) gets in your head, it will NEVER leave.
