Various Artists’s debut, ‘Anni collection 60 - 70, CD13′, does not fit easily into one genre. Since completing 0’s ‘Ora che sei gi una donna (B.Solo)’, Various Artists fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Various Artists’s album Anni collection 60 - 70, CD13 falls to No. 2 with 954,000, a sales slide of 79%. If I may, I suggest “Ora che sei gi una donna (B.Solo)”. That one song is amazing!
This track is a great song that still never gets old. Paint It Black is probably one of Various Artists’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Various Artists has astounded me with this amazing track. Best song on the album, love it. Passion flower is simply perfect. Various Artists is hitting on all cylinders in Pazza idea. Penny Lane sets the tone for the entire album. Pensiero is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Anni collection 60 - 70, CD13. Pensiero d’amore (Mal dei Primitives) is a medium tempo tune. Pensiero stupendo gives taste of what makes Various Artists special as a musician. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Per un’ ora d’amore is one of these floating songs. Various Artists is one of artists that allow his songs like Perch l’hai fatto to stand on their own and be heard. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Perdono is pretty funky and mellow. Vocals of Various Artists in Perduto amore really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. I was truly moved when I heard Personalit. There is marvelous mix of music in Piangi Con Me. As always, Various Artists’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. The song Piccola e fragile ending is my favorite… so catchy! It took me a little time but I ended up loving Pietre (Gianni Pieretti). Piete (Vasso Ovale) which is my favorite is a truly Various Artists sounding song. Pinne Fucile e Occhiali is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day.
