Jim Jones has compared writing for Various Artists’s new album to that on ‘Anni collection 60 - 70, CD20′ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Since completing 0’s ‘Vedrai, vedrai’, Various Artists fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Anni collection 60 - 70, CD20 isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Overall, I would highly recommend Anni collection 60 - 70, CD20 CD.
Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Best song on the album, love it. Venus 1 - My least favorite song on this album. When I listen to Venus 2 in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. No Various Artists song has come close to capturing my attention as Via del campo did. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Some call Viola (Adriano Celentano) from Anni collection 60 - 70, CD20 as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Viso d’angelo (Camaleonti) is perfect. I can’t stop playing Vivr% (Alain Barriere). Don’t judge Voce ‘e notte (Peppino Di Capri) on the first listening. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. We Are The Champion is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. We Are The World (stevie wonder,micheal jackson) is a excellent, simple song by Various Artists at the top of his game. This track is full of harmonies and gets Anni collection 60 - 70, CD20 off to a relaxing start. What A Sky was the first single release from the album Anni collection 60 - 70, CD20. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Yesterday is a bit of a show-tune. You Are My Destiny is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. You Are the Sunshine of My Life still maintains something of a specific flourish. Zingara is simply cool.
