Bossa Para Sempre is an amazing album, racked with beauty. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Various Artists. When you buy a Various Artists album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This is the best album I have heard in a long time
If you are a Various Artists fan, you will love Agua De Beber (Astrud Gilberto). Some call A Felicidade (Astrud Gilberto) from Bossa Para Sempre as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Oba Oba (Astrud Gilberto) had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Insensatez (Wes Montgomery) - This one is lively and fun. First time I heard Coracao Vagabundo (Caetano Veloso & Gal Costa) was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Candeias (Caetano Veloso & Gal Costa) - For me, this is the best of the album. Amor Em Paz (Wes Montgomery) is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Aguas De Marco (Elis Regina & A.Carlos Jobim) is the funkiest number on the album. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Bossa Para Sempre is Tamben Quem Mandou (Oscar Castro & Paul Winter). In Desafinado (Gal Costa) Various Artists spins a tale you want to hear to the end. In Minha Senhora (Gal Costa) full palet of sound is used by Various Artists to accentuate the presentation. Album opener Corcovado (Joao & Astrud Gilberto with Stan Getz) is a bright, upbeat ditty. Garota De Ipanema (Joao & Astrud Gilberto with Stan Getz) is outstanding work of Various Artists. I think Errinho A Toa (Leila Pinheiro) is the best song Various Artists has ever done. In Wave (Nara Leao) you won’t find any flashy solos. Manha de Carnaval (Big Bossa Nova Band & Quincy Jones) is a medium tempo tune. Ao Amigo Tom (Claudette Soares) is nothing short of a modern masterpiece.
