This disc has all of the essential Various Artists classics. There is so much to love about Various Artists, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This album has some very good songs like Orpheus (Ash) and Heart Full of Black (Burning Brides). If I may, I suggest “Orpheus (Ash)”. That one song is amazing!
This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Time To Go (Dropkick Murphys) is another strong production from Various Artists. From Out Of Nowhere (Faith No More) is possibly the best song Various Artists has come up. Take Me Out (Franz Ferdinand) marked the continuation of Various Artists in style evolution. Fool The World (Hazen Street) gives taste of what makes Various Artists special as a musician. When listening to Radio Up (Letter Kills), it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Automatic Girl (Lola Ray) is a good listen every once in a while. Charming song, great melody. Memory (Sugarcult) - A catchy, upbeat tune. Karmageddon (TSOOL) is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Roshambo (The Network) - Well, here we get a bit more meaning.
