Self-described as Pop with lots of words, Various Artists comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This is the first studio album from Various Artists since bad diagnosis in 0. Various Artists’s debut, ‘Calentito 2003 CD2′, does not fit easily into one genre. To me Various Artists is the best band ever.
Some call emotion (dj ross) from Calentito 2003 CD2 as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Excellent vocals and musical performances. love is love (papsnskar) is astounding. ill be your angel (kira) is beautiful, yet underrated track. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Calentito 2003 CD2. i keep on burning (billy more) pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. takin hold (sam la more) is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. voyage voyage (the nighflyer) which is my favorite is a truly Various Artists sounding song. In never saynever (hotel saint george) Various Artists is at his best. i will alwais love tou (safyre) rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. coming home (survivors) - A classic Various Artists track. 3 2 1 zero (lady bouncer) is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. changes (sandy rivera) stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly.
