For older fans Deftones - NHL04 will put a massive smile accross your face. Since Various Artists last CD (Deftones - NHL04) on Savoy Records back in 0, I have felt a massive void in my life. When you buy a Various Artists album, you know exactly what you’re getting! IT makes me wanna dance!
Various Artists sings SS-Recognize (Aliens ant Farm) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Radio#2 (Ataris) still maintains something of a specific flourish. Clockworks (Autopilot off) - Check out that bassline! Chapter four (Avenged Sevenfold) is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Punk Rock 101 (Bowling and Soup) is one of the best records ever. I came to like The quet things that no one ever knows (Brand New). Minerva (Deftones) can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Various Artists is all about. Oh! Ellin (Gob) make listening to Various Artists like being in some sort of time warp. In Sucked (Jerk) the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Get what you need (Jet) is pretty funky and mellow. Down (Mesh STL) has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Various Artists’s strong vocals come to the fore. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Stopgame2 (NHL04) on Deftones - NHL04 is solid and easy to listen to.
