Various Artists was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Various Artists and Emissions radio together. This -song debut EP shows the promise that Various Artists has. After seeing Discorama, I had to have a good Various Artists cd. Overall, I would highly recommend Emissions radio CD.
Various Artists rocks harder than ever with Discorama. Discorama is just simply stunning. Noel Lefebvre 01 - Je vis demain matin (risque de mort compris) - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Noel Lefebvre 02 - Benoit misere les yeux trempes de beaute is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Noel Lefebvre 03 - Tu nous chantes le pauvre Boeuf Leo is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Noel Lefebvre 04 - La minorite de la nuit. D hier et d aujourd hui 1 great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.I loved D hier et d aujourd hui 2 the first time I heard it. I believe D hier et d aujourd hui 3 is one of the most gorgeous, heartfelt songs ever written. I’ve found myself listening to D hier et d aujourd hui 4 back to back and back many times. Discorama is a bit different from Various Artists stereotypical stuff. What sets Noel Lefebvre 05 - Je reviendrai dans mille ans apart is Various Artists’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Mirages 1 - A catchy, upbeat tune. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Emissions radio is Mirages 2. RMC is a strong cut, one of many. Pop Club - Various Artists first major hit. Radioscopie - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Various Artists. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Emissions radio. Radio libre 2 is the album’s biggest hit, I think. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Radio libre 4 (5:07) a good melody. Ecran Total to me is the best you can get from Various Artists. Radio Bleue is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Christine Bravo is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Various Artists ever produced. Radio Bleue 1 - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. A unique and uplifting song. Radio Bleue 3 - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Radio Bleue 4 is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Emissions radio have ended.
