Various Artists was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Various Artists and Ethnic Odyssey 2001 together. Self-described as Pop with lots of words, Various Artists comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. IF YOU LIKE ALL Various Artists’S SONG GO FOR IT! To me Various Artists is the best band ever.
Kirw (Jolly Mukherjee feat Madras Filarmonic Orchestra) is worth the money. Yeranos (Avaton feat Natasha Atlas) is perfect. Nice and different song. Various Artists offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Shinanai (Omar Faruk Tekbilek feat Glykeria) I just LOVE this mix! Murder On The Orient Express (The Rootsman) is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. In Homebase (Dzihan & Kamien) Various Artists is at his best. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Various Artists. Carbine 744,520…Che Guevara (Up Bustle And Out) motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Only one song from Ethnic Odyssey 2001 named Letting Go (Nitin Sawhney) really got me.
