This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Various Artists. When you buy a Various Artists album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This album has some very good songs like Blues boys tune (B.B.King) and The thrill is gone (B.B.King). One of Various Artists’s best albums yet.
This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Lyrics of Blue blues (Bessie Smith) are precise and evocative. Nobody knows you (Bessie Smith) is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Various Artists. Where blue begins (Danna Gillespie) - A classic Various Artists track. I’d rather go blind (Etta James) - My least favorite song on this album. Help (Isaac Scot) is one of the coolest songs Various Artists has ever recorded. It’s man’s, man’s, man’s, world (James Brown) - I like this one. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Music in Use me (Junior Wells) is gorgeous as in all tracks of Etta James - BBC - Where Blue begins - Jam 1. Both ends of the road (Long John Hunter) motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Lightning bolt (Luther Allison) is really a nice song to relax and listen too. From the moment you listen to I can’t stand the rain (Robert Ford) you’re hooked. Various Artists has astounded me with this amazing track.
