Various Artists was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Various Artists and Festival ‘2000 Compilation Rossa CD1 together. There is no doubt that Various Artists has talent. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Various Artists’s album Festival ‘2000 Compilation Rossa CD1 falls to No. 2 with 656,000, a sales slide of 85%. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
In These Shoes (Kirsty Maccoll) is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Festival ‘2000 Compilation Rossa CD1 have ended. Various Artists is one of artists that allow his songs like Hello World (Belle Perez) to stand on their own and be heard. Lomo Pi Furbo (Max Gazz) is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. A Song For The Lovers (Richard Ashcroft) is really a nice song to relax and listen too. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Festival ‘2000 Compilation Rossa CD1. Within the first few notes of Dipende (Jarable De Palo) it’s perfectly clear that Various Artists is living this song. A unique and uplifting song. Various Artists emotions are reflected through Good Stuff (Keils Feat Terrar). 537 C.u.b.a. (Orishas) is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Music of Never Be The Same Again (Melanie C) is gentle, never overbearing. I find myself hearing bits of Amor Pa Mi (Sergent Garcia) here and there throughout my waking hours. Il Giardino Della Follia (Litfiba) good vocals. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Natural Blues (Moby). Sar (Neri Per Caso) is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Various Artists sings Rise (Gabrielle) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved.
