In people Various Artists spins a tale you want to hear to the end. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Summertime from the beginning to the end. The opening track Gabor Szabo is very much like you would expect from other albums. If you are a Various Artists fan, you will love in search of nirvana. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. KEEP SMILING is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Various Artists ever produced. Stormy is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. I can’t stop playing Some velvet morning. When I listen to raga doll in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Fingers is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Bacchanal is one of the more up-tempo songs on Gabor Szabo - The Best of. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. I’ve found myself listening to Love Is Blue back to back and back many times. Galatea s Guitar is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Gabor Szabo - The Best of have ended. Breezin’ - a classic song. Voice of Various Artists in theme from spartacus is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. The sound of Sophisticated Wheels is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Rambler have really caught my ear and imagination. comin back is possibly the best song Various Artists has come up. Gypsy Queen(1) (5:14) a good melody. I Remember When - My least favorite song on this album. FEMME FATALE is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Another Late Night is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. The Beat Goes On pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Mizrab gets you up and jumping.
