For older fans Masterpieces Ethnic Music - Georgia will put a massive smile accross your face. There were many famous songs of Various Artists available. It’s natural for Various Artists to take a stab at ‘Suliko’ considering her long-professed love for B.B. King. This album is awesome.
Abkhaz plyasovaya - To me, this is the best song on the Masterpieces Ethnic Music - Georgia. Echla chhedav sakvarelo (guriyskaya song) is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Various Artists ever produced. You have to get essence of the Nanipavda’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Various Artists breathes new life into the music in Charga. Park - For me, this is the best of the album. Although Indie Arbel (guriyskaya song) is very melodic it is far from sad. The sound in Georgian lezginka is really warm and Various Artists’s signature voice is still very much present. I was truly moved when I heard Song Kiazo. Arobnaya song gives taste of what makes Various Artists special as a musician. Song Malhasa - This is a very lively song. Oravella (kahetinskaya song) presents the excellent mix of instruments on Masterpieces Ethnic Music - Georgia. Masterpieces Ethnic Music - Georgia couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Japanese Imeretinskaya. Ukmad happy Zihar demobila good vocals. Don’t judge Lala (kahetinskie chastushki) on the first listening. Guriyskaya collective song is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Various Artists released so far. Gudisa (Abkhaz heroic song) is worth the money. Shalaho is the gorgeous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Shabodisho is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Suliko is so unique, as each one of the songs is.
