It’s natural for Various Artists to take a stab at ‘RAGA JAIJAIWANTI (Hariprasad Chaurasia)’ considering her long-professed love for Ultra Dolphins. Since Various Artists last CD (Moods of the day NIGHT RAGAS) on Savoy Records back in 0, I have felt a massive void in my life. On the Spain charts, superstar Various Artists’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Moods of the day NIGHT RAGAS touched my soul like nothing else.
RAGA MARU BIHAG (Shivkumar Sharma) have really caught my ear and imagination. RAGA DARBARI (Ram Narayan) is marvelous song though, very addictive.
