IF YOU LIKE ALL Various Artists’S SONG GO FOR IT! On the Romania charts, superstar Various Artists’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Since completing 2007’s ‘Para que tu no llores (Antonio Carmona vs Alejandro Sanz)’, Various Artists fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This is what good Pop should be.
Dime porque (Antonio Orozco) motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Pedacitos De Ti - (Antonio Orozco y Arcangel) is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. La Distancia (Arcangel) is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Mujer Maravillosa (Arcangel) is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Various Artists ever produced. As always, Various Artists’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Various Artists sings Sabe Bueno (Arcanger Ft Engo Flow) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. I like the idea behind Dejate Llevar (Remix) (Arianna Puello & Orishas). It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Por Que No (Aventura Ft Toby Love), which shows, blatantly, how much Various Artists has evolved as a singer. In Envidia (Aventura Y Tego Calderon) the music gets its power. Strong, powerful vocals of Various Artists in Girlfriend (Avril Lavigne) are very impressive. Pop Lock And Drop It (Baby Huey) to me is the best you can get from Various Artists. Quiero Sentirte (Baby Ranks) - another great track from the Musica Mayo-Junio 2007 CD2 album. Ba Yonga Wamba (Banaroo) still maintains something of a specific flourish. Boten Anna (BassHunter) is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Ne Me Quitte Pas (Belinda Carlisle) gives good insight into the truths. Music of Amor Gitanon remix (Beyonce Ft Alejandro Fernandez) is gentle, never overbearing. After about the third Good Directions (Billy Currington) listen through, I began to believe this song is Various Artists’s essence. One listen to the sheer beauty of Beautiful liar (spanglish) (Beyonce) was all I needed. Oye listen (Beyonce) is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Musica Mayo-Junio 2007 CD2 have ended.
