After debuting at No. 1 last week, Various Artists’s album Planet Patrol - Electro Science CD1 falls to No. 2 with 545,000, a sales slide of 72%. Planet Patrol - Electro Science CD1 is an amazing album, racked with beauty.’Planet Patrol - Electro Science CD1′ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Planet Patrol - Electro Science CD1 constantly brilliant.
This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. One For The Treble (Fresh; Davy DMX) - This one is lively and fun. Play That Beat Mr DJ (G.L.O.B.E. and Whiz Kid) is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Various Artists ever produced. The sound in The Adventues Of Grand Master Flash On The Wheels Of Steel (Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five) is really warm and Various Artists’s signature voice is still very much present. Rockit (Herbie Hancock) is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Only one song from Planet Patrol - Electro Science CD1 named Boogie Down Bronx (Man Parrish) really got me. A unique and uplifting song. Jam On It (Newcleus) is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Play At Your Own Risk (Planet Patrol) - A nice song. Walking On Sunshine (Rockers Revenge) - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Wildstyle (Time Zone) is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. The Smurf (Tyrone Brunson) one of the best in my collection. Within the first few notes of Break Dance Electric Boogie (West Street Mob) it’s perfectly clear that Various Artists is living this song.
