After seeing Track 1, I had to have a good Various Artists cd. Qigong isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Various Artists was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Various Artists and Qigong together. Qigong constantly brilliant.
Track 2 - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Track 3 is amazing and different song. There is astounding mix of music in Track 4. From the moment you listen to Track 5 you’re hooked. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Track 7 is a striking and quite long song. The sound in Track 8 is really warm and Various Artists’s signature voice is still very much present. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Overall a nice softer song. I love the melodic melody of Track 11 and to this day it makes me feel good. Track 12 is pretty funky and mellow.
