This album has some very good songs like Al di la (Luciano Tajoli) and 24000 baci (Adriano Celentano). Sanremo 1961 carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. There were many famous songs of Various Artists available. Exciting stuff.
24000 baci (Adriano Celentano) one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. If you are a Various Artists fan, you will love Il mare nel cassetto (Milva). It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Le mille bolle blu (Mina) is one of the more up-tempo songs on Sanremo 1961. After about the third Come sinfonia (Pino Donaggio) listen through, I began to believe this song is Various Artists’s essence. Febbre di musica (Tonina Torrielli) is the funkiest number on the album. First time I heard Mandolino mandolino (Sergio Bruni) was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Sanremo 1961. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Non mi dire chi sei (Umberto Bindi) is perfect. I think Lei (Joe Sentieri) is the best song Various Artists has ever done.
