Various Artists had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. While no new Various Artists album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1980 tour in Asia. I am not a real Pop music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Sanremo 1980′ really is amazing. Sanremo 1980 is the best essence of Various Artists.
Once Ti voglio bene (Enzo Malepasso) gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. I think Su di noi (Pupo) is the best song Various Artists has ever done. CanterB canterB canterB (Aldo Donati) pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Cavallo bianco (Paolo Riviere) marked the continuation of Various Artists in style evolution. Contessa (Decibel) is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Still going through Sanremo 1980 and coming to appreciate L’italiano (Stefano Rosso) more and more with every listen. When listening to Mara (live) (Bruno D’Andrea), it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. MariI (Gianni Morandi) - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Sanremo 1980. Musica Regina (Leano Morelli) is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Passer0 (Alberto Cheli) - This one makes me want to not only sing along. It’s such an underrated song. This track is full of harmonies and gets Sanremo 1980 off to a relaxing start. Tu Mi Manchi Dentro (Leroy Gomez) motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Va pensiero (Linda Lee) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Sanremo 1980. Voglio l’erba voglio (Francesco Magni) is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Various Artists ever produced.
