Since completing 0’s ‘Anti Christ (Dissection)’, Various Artists fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. On the Slovakia charts, superstar Various Artists’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Slatanic Slaughter (cd1) is the best essence of Various Artists.
This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Strong, powerful vocals of Various Artists in Crionics (Merciless) are very impressive. Put Captor Of Sin (At The Gates) into car stereo for your highway driving In Altar Of Sacrifice (Invocator) Various Artists spins a tale you want to hear to the end. In Jesus Saves (Enslaved) full palet of sound is used by Various Artists to accentuate the presentation. Charming song, great melody. Post Mortem (Seance) has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Various Artists has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Overall a nice softer song.
