It has been ten years Various Artists’ last studio CD, “Slatanic Slaughter (cd2)” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. I am not a real Pop music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Slatanic Slaughter (cd2)’ really is amazing. Various Artists had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Chemical Warfare (Luciferion) - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Hell Awaits (Cradle Of Filth). Praise Of Death (Sinister) is amazing song though, very addictive. The sound of Necrophiliac (Benediction) is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Angel Of Death (Liers In Wait) - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Epidemic (Coffin Man) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Slatanic Slaughter (cd2). I like to sing along with Raining Blood (Malevolent Creation), though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. A unique and uplifting song. Read Between The Lies (Anathema) is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Dead Skin Mask (Unanimated) is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. This track is clearly meant to showcase Various Artists’s vocal abilities.
