There is so much to love about Various Artists, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Various Artists’s debut, ‘Valentine Classics’, does not fit easily into one genre. Valentine Classics is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Smart music for smart people.
When I listen to Tum mahakti jawan - Mukesh in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Various Artists breathes new life into the music in Kadmon me teri - Mohammed Rafi. I have all of Various Artists’s tracks and Ankhon ankhon me - Kishore Kumar is probably the most his introspective effort. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Ek ajnabee haseena - Kishore Kumar - Okay, I just talked about depth. No Various Artists song has come close to capturing my attention as Mujhe tumse mohabbat - Mohammed Rafi did. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Music and lyrics of Kwabon ki dunija - Mukesh creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Jane kaha gaye tum - Mohammed Rafi is a very catchy tune. Kehne hai - Kishore Kumar is really the reason why I recommend buying Valentine Classics. This is one hell of a track. Khushi ki wo raat - Mukesh is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Dil karne laga hai - Mohammed Rafi is a good listen every once in a while. Roop tumhare - Manna Dey is a very catchy tune. Various Artists sings Zindagi ke safar - Mohammed Rafi in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Tu akela tha - Mukesh is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit.
