After seeing Essa Moca Diferente, I had to have a good Chico Buarque cd. Since Chico Buarque last CD (Chico Buarque de Hollanda Vol4) on Blue Note Records back in 1970, I have felt a massive void in my life. Chico Buarque de Hollanda Vol4 is an amazing album, racked with beauty.One of Chico Buarque’s best albums yet.
Put No Fala de Maria into car stereo for your highway driving Ilmo, SR. Ciro Monteiro on Receita Pra Virar Casaca de still maintains something of a specific flourish. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. I can’t stop humming along Gente Humilde. Nice and different song. A unique and uplifting song. Samba Amor is another strong production from Chico Buarque. I believe Pois is one of the most excellent, heartfelt songs ever written. Cara Cara is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. The song Mulher, Vou Dizer Quanto Te Amo ending is my favorite… so catchy! Chico Buarque has astounded me with this amazing track.
