It has been seven years Chico Buarque’ last studio CD, “Gota d’0gua” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Gota d’0gua is not something you should pass up.
Entrada de Joana - A catchy, upbeat tune. In Monlogo do povo it becomes nowhere more obvious that Chico Buarque has yet to define own style. Bem querer is beautiful, yet underrated track. Blew our minds when we first heard Desabafo de Joana para Jas o. This track is clearly meant to showcase Chico Buarque’s vocal abilities. Gota d’0gua (3:20) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Joana promete because the melody in the chorus is so good. Only one song from Gota d’0gua named Basta um dia really got me. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Ritual. This track is a great song that still never gets old. What sets Morte apart is Chico Buarque’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres.
