In Meu Caro Amigo it becomes nowhere more obvious that Chico Buarque has yet to define own style. A Noiva da Cidade is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. The song Passaredo ending is my favorite… so catchy! This is one hell of a track. No Chico Buarque song has come close to capturing my attention as Corrente did. Olhos Nos Olhos - My least favorite song on this album. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Mulheres de Atenas is a marvelous sing-along. O Que Ser (A Flor da Terra) - A nice song.
