The Negotiator isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Now signed to Graeme Revell’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “The Negotiator” leads Graeme Revell’s back-to-school campaign. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Graeme Revell energies, virtually a rebirth. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like The Negotiator.
Once you hear Elegy, you will listen to it over and over. It’s a great pleasure to listen to The Troops Arrive from the beginning to the end. Graeme Revell offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. The Stakeout is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Take The Shot great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Don’t judge No Turning Back on the first listening. Bluff and Double Bluff is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. The Second Breach is just simply stunning. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. The sound of Blow-Up is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. The Final Breach is almost impossible to review. As always, Graeme Revell’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Blew our minds when we first heard End Game-End Titles.
