eight years ago, Kuschelrock briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Open Arms”. Kuschelrock’s debut, ‘Kuschelrock - Vol. 10 (cd2)’, does not fit easily into one genre. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Kuschelrock’s album Kuschelrock - Vol. 10 (cd2) falls to No. 2 with 597,000, a sales slide of 69%. This is my first Kuschelrock Album and i must say i am blown away.
Open Arms is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Vocals of Kuschelrock in Anything really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. The Earth, The Sun, The Rain is a song to enjoy for years to come. I’d Lie For You (And That’s The Truth) very upbeat. Kuschelrock offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: My Whole Life, which shows, blatantly, how much Kuschelrock has evolved as a singer. Put Secret Garden into car stereo for your highway driving Such hits like Anywhere Is will leave you hooked. Missing You - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Kuschelrock is one of artists that allow his songs like You’re The Star to stand on their own and be heard. Help Me gives good insight into the truths. A Love So Beautiful gives taste of what makes Kuschelrock special as a musician. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing.
