After debuting at No. 1 last week, The Blues Brothers’s album Blues Brothers falls to No. 2 with 315,000, a sales slide of 68%. If you love The Blues Brothers as much as I do, then The Blues Brothers Blues Brothers is the CD for you!
Jailhouse Rock - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Within the first few notes of She Caught The Katy it’s perfectly clear that The Blues Brothers is living this song. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. The Blues Brothers sings Gimme Some Lovin’ in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Think - My least favorite song on this album. Theme From Rawhide (2:39) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Minnie The Moocher actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on The Blues Brothers’s face. The Old Landmark catches attention immediately, The first time I listened to Shake Your Tail Feathers I was struck by its perfect sound. Best song on the album, love it.
