Listening to King Kong you can hear that John Barry has still amazing chemistry with band members. Eleanor and Franklin very upbeat. First time I heard Robin and Marian was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.John Barry sings The Deep in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Don’t judge Hanover Street on the first listening. The Black Hole is perfect. Moonraker (3:25) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Somewhere in time is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Raise the Titanic - This one is lively and fun. Body Heat is a fine track on any terms. Frances is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Octopussy - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin.
