Pesado was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Pesado and El Grupo Que Vale Lo Que Pesa, Vol. 2 together. thirteen years ago, Pesado briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Dejame Ser”. There is no doubt that Pesado has talent. One of Pesado’s best albums yet.
Dejame Ser actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Pesado’s face. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Por Eso gives good insight into the truths. After you’ve listened to Te Lo Pido Por Favor, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. You have to get essence of the Asi Es Mi Amor’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Poema is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. This is one hell of a track. Ayudame a Olvidar is worth the money. Mi Nueva Cancion (2:26) a good melody. Lyrics of Ayudame are precise and evocative. Although No Podemos Continuar is very melodic it is far from sad.
