Self-described as Pop with lots of words, Biagio Antonacci comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. It’s natural for Biagio Antonacci to take a stab at ‘Come Siamo Tanti Al Mondo’ considering her long-professed love for KLF. I am not a real Pop music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Best CD’ really is amazing. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Musically Cosi’ Presto No is superior to other tracks in The Best CD. Fiore is probably one of Biagio Antonacci’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. When I listen to Il Mucchio in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. In Iris [Tra Le Tue Poesie] it becomes nowhere more obvious that Biagio Antonacci has yet to define own style. Lavorero’ have really caught my ear and imagination. After you’ve listened to Liberatemi, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Get The Best CD and turn on Mi Fai Stare Bene if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Non Parli Mai is almost impossible to review. Non So Piu’ A Chi Credere - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Song Non Vendermi is actually a funny song. Non e’ Mai Stato Subito is the song that really did it for me. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Biagio Antonacci is hitting on all cylinders in Quanto Tempo Ancora. The first time I listened to Se Tu Fossi Come Me I was struck by its cool sound. Se e’ Vero Che Ci Sei marked the continuation of Biagio Antonacci in style evolution. The song feels complete. Vigile is a strong cut, one of many.
