For older fans On One will put a massive smile accross your face. This disc has all of the essential Keak Da Sneak classics. Lead single “The O” and “Same O Thang” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is what good Rap: Hip-Hop should be.
Same O Thang - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Charming song, great melody. Album opener High Tonight is a bright, upbeat ditty. Street Stars is just simply stunning. Don’t judge Playa Ass Niggas on the first listening. Get It Started is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Keak Da Sneak has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Like What is a exquisite song and it grows on you. Fuck With These Hoe’s - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Opening track Full Circle shows the best of Keak Da Sneak.
