It has been nine years Lucio Battisti’ last studio CD, “II lMio Canto Libero” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. This is one of the best Cd’s Lucio Battisti has dropped to date. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Lucio Battisti energies, virtually a rebirth. II lMio Canto Libero is the best essence of Lucio Battisti.
Luci Ah is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after II lMio Canto Libero have ended. Aquila is another strong production from Lucio Battisti. Vento Nel Vento - I like this one. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Confusione is my favorite song on II lMio Canto Libero. Lo Vorrei Non Verrei is pretty funky and mellow. Lucio Battisti is hitting on all cylinders in Gente Per Bene a Gente Permale. Don’t judge Mio Canto Libero on the first listening.
