eight years ago, Lucio Battisti briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “anche per te”. Lucio Battisti’s debut, ‘L’Album di Lucio CD1′, does not fit easily into one genre. This album has some very good songs like la canzone del sole and anche per te. This is one of Lucio Battisti best albums
This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. A great put together song. innocenti evasioni is astounding work of Lucio Battisti. Voice of Lucio Battisti in e penso ate is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Lucio Battisti must have run out of lyrics on the next track umanamente uomo- il sogno. il mio canto libero is the song that really did it for me. la luce dell’est is the funkiest number on the album. I was truly moved when I heard confusione. I can’t stop playing io vorrei..non vorrei..ma sevuoi. il nostro caro angelo make listening to Lucio Battisti like being in some sort of time warp. la collina dei ciliegi is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Voice and instruments in le allettanti promesse complement each other. First time I heard anima latina was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.
