eleven years ago, Danilo Montero briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Es Jesus”. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Danilo Montero’s album Cantare De Tu Amor falls to No. 2 with 489,000, a sales slide of 88%. I am not a real Gospel music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Cantare De Tu Amor’ really is amazing. One of Danilo Montero’s best albums yet.
One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Es Jesus because the melody in the chorus is so good. Cuanto Amo Tu Ley is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Danilo Montero. Voice of Danilo Montero in Jesucristo is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Dulce Amor - a classic song. A great put together song. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Cantare De Tu Amor. Danilo Montero breathes new life into the music in Te adoro, Selor Jeses. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Da De Jubileo (BONUS TRACK).
