Lead single “Cancion infantil” and “Soneto a mama” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album has some very good songs like Cancion infantil and Soneto a mama. This is the first studio album from Joan Manuel Serrat since bad diagnosis in 1974. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like (1974) - Cancivn Infantil.
Soneto a mama is just simply stunning. After few listenings I started to like De parto more and more. Campesina rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Arena y limo is a very catchy tune. I love the melodic melody of Romance de Curro “El Palmo” and to this day it makes me feel good. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Hermano que te vas a California, which shows, blatantly, how much Joan Manuel Serrat has evolved as a singer. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Para vivir one of the best in my collection. Voice and instruments in Edurne complement each other.
