Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Joan Manuel Serrat on ‘Menos tu vientre’. Miguel Hernandez carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. There is no doubt that Joan Manuel Serrat has talent. Exciting stuff.
Elegia marked the continuation of Joan Manuel Serrat in style evolution. Para la libertad is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. La boca is pretty funky and mellow. Umbrio por la pena as a highlight of Miguel Hernandez contains a ton of cool melodies. There is marvelous mix of music in Nanas de la cebolla. Romancillo de mayo (2:52) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! El nico yuntero is just simply stunning. Canciyn ultima - Check out that bassline! Joan Manuel Serrat has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving.
