This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Lucio Dalla. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Lucio Dalla on ‘Sylvie’. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Lucio Dalla energies, virtually a rebirth. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
This is one hell of a track. Itaca the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. La Casa In Riva Al Mare is a bit of a show-tune. Paff…Bum is simple, dignified and effective, Lucio Dalla refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. 4.3.1943 is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Un Uomo Come Me has a fun tempo. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Pezzo Zero is just simply stunning. Excellent vocals and musical performances.
