Since completing 0’s ‘Oblivious Maximus’, Superjoint Ritual fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. IF YOU LIKE ALL Superjoint Ritual’S SONG GO FOR IT! Since Superjoint Ritual last CD (Use Once and Destroy) on Blue Note Records back in 0, I have felt a massive void in my life. Enjoy the show.
After few listenings I started to like It Takes No Guts more and more. Superjoint Ritual must have run out of lyrics on the next track Everyone Hates Everyone. The Introvert as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. The Alcoholik to me is the best you can get from Superjoint Ritual. Only one song from Use Once and Destroy named Fuck Your Enemy really got me. Superjoint Ritual has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Message the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. All Of Our Lives Will Get Tired is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. The opening track Anti Faith is very much like you would expect from other albums. No Superjoint Ritual song has come close to capturing my attention as Ozena did. Drug Your Love is probably the most interesting track on Use Once and Destroy. Haunted/Hated stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Stupid, Stupid Man is astounding. Creepy Crawl is just simply stunning. Superjoint Ritual is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Starvation Trip is a strong cut, one of many. Little H is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever.
