On the Greece charts, superstar Keith Murray’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Intellectual Violence isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. There is so much to love about Keith Murray, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Overall, I would highly recommend Intellectual Violence CD.
Run 4 Ya Life hits the heart. I Got Ya is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. In Talk Dat Shit the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. U Aint No Gangsta (Skit) - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. U Aint No Gangsta - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. After few listenings I started to like 1Blood Freestyle more and more. Hustle On is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. In LOD Renegades Keith Murray is at his best. Hey Ladies make listening to Keith Murray like being in some sort of time warp. Within the first few notes of 2Niggas it’s perfectly clear that Keith Murray is living this song. They Don’t Really Know is a marvelous, simple song by Keith Murray at the top of his game. Pen Life Feat. Psyc Dog of the LOD - My least favorite song on this album. We Got Our Own Thing (2:51) - awsome. Skit is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Killem Skit is one of the best records ever. What Iz Trouble - Okay, I just talked about depth. In Fuck Keith Murray full palet of sound is used by Keith Murray to accentuate the presentation. Skit is a bit of a show-tune. Blokka Blokka is the song that really did it for me. Skit - I like this one. Wu-Tang Freestyle gets you up and jumping. Skit I just LOVE this mix! The song LOD Rathunters Feat. LOD ending is my favorite… so catchy! Anger has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Lil Weezy Freestyle is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Don’t Hate Cuz I’m Beautiful is probably one of Keith Murray’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to.
