Kenji Kawai’s debut, ‘Blue Seed 2′, does not fit easily into one genre. For older fans Blue Seed 2 will put a massive smile accross your face. While no new Kenji Kawai album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 0 tour in North America. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Beginning Of Destruction - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. A fantastic track full of wonder. Man With Eight Souls motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. The Earth Of Our Homeland is Kenji Kawai’s best work in years. Mysterious Lady marked the continuation of Kenji Kawai in style evolution. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Battlefield Of The Madonna because the melody in the chorus is so good. This song may be the most meaningful. I listened to the opening track Bitter Victory and liked it a lot. Eyecatcher is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Hang In There! is absolutely incredible. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Jumping Over Stars is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Blue Seed Piano Suit is probably one of Kenji Kawai’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Omen is a medium tempo tune. National Administration Corp’s Search is a very catchy tune. Echo Resonates Soul is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Birth Of Susano is such a marvelous and optimistic song that things can get just better.
