eight years ago, Matia Bazar briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Soli… A Volte Insieme”. On Semplicita album, Matia Bazar have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This is the first studio album from Matia Bazar since bad diagnosis in 1978. This album is in perfect progression from Matia Bazar!
Soli… A Volte Insieme to me is the best you can get from Matia Bazar. Accipicchia Che Nostalgia - another great track from the Semplicita album. A fantastic track full of wonder. E Cosi is one of my favorite songs by Matia Bazar. Playboy - A catchy, upbeat tune. I was truly moved when I heard Ancora Un Po’ Di Te. After few listenings I started to like Guarda Un Po’ more and more. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Occhi Grande Come Il Mare which is my favorite is a truly Matia Bazar sounding song.
