While no new Illusion album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1979 tour in Africa. This disc has all of the essential Illusion classics. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Illusion on ‘Nights In Paris’. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Walking Space
Walking Space is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. The Man Who Loved The Trees is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. After about the third Getting Into Love Again listen through, I began to believe this song is Illusion’s essence. As Long As We’re Together gives taste of what makes Illusion special as a musician. Slaughter On Tenth Avenue is a song to enjoy for years to come. Living Above Your Head is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. You Are The One - a classic song. Illusion sings All The Falling Angels in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved.
