Lead single “Super Herois” and “Medo Da Chuva” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. six years ago, Raul Seixas briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Medo Da Chuva”. This is the first studio album from Raul Seixas since bad diagnosis in 1974. One of Raul Seixas’s best albums yet.
Medo Da Chuva - For me, this is the best of the album. As Aventuras De Raul Seix (3:47) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Only one song from Gita named Agua Viva really got me. Moleque Maravilhoso is another favourite of mine. Sessao Das is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Raul Seixas released so far. Although Sociedade Alternativa is very melodic it is far from sad. O Trem Das to me is the best you can get from Raul Seixas. Strong, powerful vocals of Raul Seixas in S O S are very impressive. Preludio is probably the highlight of the album. Loteria De Babilonia is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Gita - This is a very lively song.
