This disc has all of the essential Rocio Durcal classics. I am not a real Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Mis mejores canciones’ really is amazing. This -song debut EP shows the promise that Rocio Durcal has. Unappreciated gift to Folk
me nace del corazon is amazing song though, very addictive. me desperto la realidad to me is the best you can get from Rocio Durcal. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. ya te olvide is a medium tempo tune. tenias que ser tan cruel is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Mis mejores canciones have ended. fue tan poco tu carino is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. hoy por fin is another favourite of mine. como tu mujer is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Voice of Rocio Durcal in tu abandono is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. me gustas mucho as a highlight of Mis mejores canciones contains a ton of gorgeous melodies. In cuando yo quiera has de volver Rocio Durcal is at his best. This track is clearly meant to showcase Rocio Durcal’s vocal abilities. Overall a nice softer song. cuando decidas volver hits the heart. no lastimes mas is a cool song and it grows on you. que el mundo ruede is probably one of Rocio Durcal’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Within the first few notes of la diferencia it’s perfectly clear that Rocio Durcal is living this song. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. luz de luna is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. The opening track la gata bajo la lluvia is very much like you would expect from other albums.
