Since Rocio Durcal last CD (Musicales) on EMI Records back in 0, I have felt a massive void in my life. Since completing 0’s ‘Se me olvido otra vez’, Rocio Durcal fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. There is so much to love about Rocio Durcal, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: La diferencia, which shows, blatantly, how much Rocio Durcal has evolved as a singer. Jamas me cansare de ti great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Inocente pobre amigo is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Rocio Durcal released so far. Fue tan poco tu carino - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Best song on the album, love it. Costumbres is beautiful, yet underrated track. Con todo y mi tristeza is gorgeous song though, very addictive. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Musicales. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Lyrics of Tarde are precise and evocative.
